Watching Each Other’s Wounds.
Watching Each Other’s Wounds.
We’re watching each other’s wounds,
Tracing the lines where we bleed,
Our eyes searching for a glimpse beneath,
But these scars have stories we both still read.
Tracing the lines where we bleed,
Our eyes searching for a glimpse beneath,
But these scars have stories we both still read.
Hoping to see past the pain,
To places we buried deep inside,
Yet every tear, every mark remains,
And in their sting, we hide.
There’s comfort in the sight,
Knowing I’m not alone in this fight,
But the wounds whisper secrets we fear to say,
Keeping our healing just out of sight.
So here we stand, torn and bare,
Finding solace in the silent care,
Wounded souls bound by threads unseen,
In the hope that someday, we might feel clean.
