Watching Each Other’s Wounds.

Image
Watching Each Other’s Wounds. We’re watching each other’s wounds, Tracing the lines where we bleed, Our eyes searching for a glimpse beneath, But these scars have stories we both still read. Hoping to see past the pain, To places we buried deep inside, Yet every tear, every mark remains, And in their sting, we hide. There’s comfort in the sight, Knowing I’m not alone in this fight, But the wounds whisper secrets we fear to say, Keeping our healing just out of sight. So here we stand, torn and bare, Finding solace in the silent care, Wounded souls bound by threads unseen, In the hope that someday, we might feel clean. -Gulmohar

To Love You in the End

Image
Dear Meir, I dreamed that I was on a railway platform, in a hurry to meet you. I saw people running, crying, shouting. The sky was dark, and the whole world was covered with clouds. I heard that the apocalypse was coming for us, that this world was coming to an end. We were standing at our end. I was breathing heavily. I ran, I ran away from the train platform, away from everyone, from everything. I came to a hill and saw the blue sea and you. You were far across this sea; how could I come to you, Meir? You were far from me. No one could take me to you, and that was the end of us. My love, I wanted to hold you one last time. And then I heard something. When I looked back, it was you. I ran to you, and you ran to me. I could see your face. Today, I was going to love you, Meir. I didn’t know when our ending would come, but I knew I was here with you, and today, I would love you even more. If the world ended today… I know we could finally have each other. Yours, Serene ~ Letters to Meir ~...
